one of the best nearby hotel from the temple . walkable distance only . spacious rooms .A/C and non ac options available . its run by KSDC (karnataka government) and its a basic hotel but you can expect much than a basic hotel and dont expect more than a start hotel. its family and couple friendly hotel

The staff of the hotel was very welcoming and made a great effort to provide the most comfortable and nice stay possible. Sadly the room was not in a very clean state (floor, toilet, bed sheets and pillows).

We had a great experience staying there. Considering the fact that it was a KSTDC hotel, we didn't have much expectation but we were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and spick and span, including the toilet. The bed linen were clean and crisp. The restaurant served good food at reasonable rates. The staff were friendly and responsive. There was ample parking. The hotel is located in the heart of Belur and very close to the famous temple. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Infrastructure was good. Location is good. Rooms were not cleaned prior to our visit. So the floor was covered with dust. Rooms were good and spacious. Overall stay was okay. If you are getting a room there, please ask them to give a room which is recently cleaned not one which is kept locked for some time.

Highlights: 1) Smelly bathroom 2) Arrogant staff who thinks that they are running a charity for the homeless 3) Extremely noisy (24/7) 4) Hot water is a luxury which only the lucky will have It was just a night stay with family to attend a wedding. Could not sleep due to loud chatter and noise. Bathroom smelled like it was cleaned 10 years back. Could not even get hot water in the morning. When we insisted that we want hot water a hotel staff just kept a lukewarm and asked us to use it. When asked how can we use almost cold water and just one bucket for 3 of us (including my daughter who is just 9 months old); he just uttered some curse words and vanished. Avoid it like a plague. This one is worse than a B grade lodge which would cost less than 1/5th the price of this one.
